Does SuperATV have a trailer full of the best ATV accessories, parts, and gear that will boost your quad’s four-wheel ferocity? Heck yes we do! SuperATV started with ATV parts and we’ll keep making them until the end of time.

We’re well known for our UTV parts, but here are 7 ATV upgrades you should get, and the order you should get them in. Get them all for the ultimate upgraded rig.

1. Power Steering—$799.95

The first item on our list of best ATV accessories might seem like a big item, but it’s so fundamental to your enjoyment that we had to put it first.

You need power steering, and you shouldn’t ride a four-wheeler without it. It’s not just a luxury item, it enhances every part of the ride experience. The ability to turn easier gives you tighter control, AKA you might actually become a better driver.

You might consider yourself too tough to need help steering, but consider this: if steering is effortless, then you can go on longer, harder rides without wearing yourself out. That’s more fun for you, and less time icing your sore shoulders. Trust us, once you try power steering, you’ll wonder how you ever rode without it.

Finally, there’s kind of an X-factor to power steering that’s hard to really explain, but when you stop fighting your machine, you start to feel more connected to what you’re actually doing—blasting through a trail. It’s pretty cool.

If you think installing power steering sounds intimidating, don’t. We’ve gone to great lengths to make our power steering kits easy to install on your ATV. We send you everything you need in one box and give you full color instructions. EZ-STEER Power Steering isn’t just a cheesy name, it’s our philosophy that anybody should be able to get it installed.

We’ve got power steering kits for a ton of different ATVs.

2. Rhino Brand Axles—$199.95

Rhino brand axles are a no-brainer replacement for a broken stock axle, and they bolster your suspension for the upgrades to come. They give you an awesome bang for your buck thanks to their perfect combination of design, materials, and price.

First of all, their design makes the axle shafts bigger than stock and allows the CV joints to run at high angles without overheating. They also don’t need to be broken in because of their precision ground joints.

Take those sweet design features and add an all chromoly steel construction, and you’ve got the best freaking $200 axle you can get for an ATV.

3. Ball Joints—$34.95-$99.95

Our upgraded ball joints are a solid investment and really beef up your suspension. They work best when you don’t notice they’re there at all. That’s because ball joints tend to wear out over time, and ours are built to last longer. Yes, even our $35 stock replacement joints.

We have three different kinds of ball joints, stock replacement, heavy-duty chromoly, and super-duty 300M. Our heavy and super-duty ball joints both use enhanced designs that boost the strength of the stud and utilize a threaded cap. The threaded cap allows you to tighten the tension of the stud, so that years into your ball joint’s lifetime, it’ll still feel like new.

This 300M ball joint has more to it than just a super tough material—that greasable zerk fitting and threaded housing make it easy to maintain. When this ball joint starts getting old, you can tighten the housing to keep your stud tension just right.

The difference between chromoly and 300M is the difference between having a ball joint that’s two times stronger than stock and a ball joint that’s 2.5 times stronger than stock. They’re both great, you just get a little more oomph out of 300M.

Next time you’re looking to replace your ATV’s ball joints, upgrade to one of SuperATV’s better ball joints.

4. Wheel Bearings—$29.95

We can’t make a list about the best ATV parts without mentioning wheel bearings. They’re not really an upgrade part, but having a good wheel bearing will keep your suspension from wobbling itself to death. Keep some spares on hand—you always want to keep your bearings in good condition.

With a healthy suspension, you’re ready to move on to the bigger upgrades.

5. Portal Gear Lift—$2,899.95-$3,799.95

Our first big upgrade is one of the best, and it’s well worth the money. GDP Portal Gear Lifts are a game changer. They give your ATV a lift (4 or 6 inches) and a gear reduction (15%, 30%, or 45%) in one package. That alone lets you run bigger tires and use the torque-boosting gear reductions to turn them. Whether you’re tackling mud holes, going on trail rides, or cruising through creeks, a set of portals will enhance the experience.

The 4” portals on this Sportsman boost torque with a 15% gear reduction built right into the hub. That gear reduction also protects the entire drivetrain. And don’t forget about that four-inch lift. Our 4” portals are also available with a 15% gear reduction or you can go with 6” portals for up to a 45% gear reduction.

But that’s not the whole story. They do a lot to help your ATV, too. They protect your drivetrain because the gear reduction is all the way out in the hub. Your axles, differential, prop shaft, and transmission all benefit from the boosted torque just like you do. They also do (or rather don’t do) something no other lift kit does—they don’t increase your axles’ running angles. Your axles are doubly protected.

Portals are kind of a win-win. You’ll love them, your quad will love them, and every ride will be awesome.

Upgrade your ATV with GDP Portals.

6. Lift Kits—$249.95-$1,799.95

We have traditional lift kits for your ATV, too. In fact, a Sportsman lift was the first ever SuperATV product. We have both small and big lift kits to make your ATV ride higher.

Why would you want a lift kit? Lift kits let you roll over bigger bumps and turn up your tire size. What’s not to love? The best part is that you can install them with a GDP Portal Gear Lift for some awesome lift and performance. Combine that 6” Renegade or Outlander lift with 6” portals, and all of a sudden, you’ve got a monster lift that still feels great to ride.

A 6” lift kit looks awesome on an ATV. It also gives you room for huge tires. That increased ground clearance lets you get through deeper mud holes and over bigger rocks.

Our lifts are designed to be as comfortable as possible. We do everything we can to keep your suspension as cushy as possible and keep your turning radius tight. With our kits, you ride in luxury, just a few inches higher than you were before.

7. Differential Parts—$34.95-$1,449.95

There’s a big difference between a Can-Am Differential and a Polaris Differential. Let’s talk about the Can-Am goods first.

For the Outlander and Renegade, we’ve developed a killer replacement differential that gives you instant engagement for your front differential lock. It’s called SwifTrac, and it uses a sprague carrier similar to the way some other manufacturer’s differentials work. The point is, when you have four-wheel drive engaged, you actually get four-wheel drive, not the three-wheel drive that you get with the stock Visco-Lok. With SwifTrac, you can ride up hills easier, get through mud better, and handle tricky terrain easily.

File SwifTrac under “super rad.” It gives you instant engagement of your front differential lock when you need it and instant disengagement when you don’t. It does it all automatically so you can keep moving forward without losing momentum.

For the Polaris Sportsman, we have heavy-duty spragues, armature plates, and replacement seal kits. The spragues are made with hardened, 7075 aluminum which makes them very strong. They also happen to come with a lifetime warranty, which makes this one of the most reliable parts of your differential. You can even get them complete with springs and rollers!

When it’s time for a little ATV maintenance, you’ll want to get our complete differential seal kit, and why not throw in a new armature plate while you’re at it? That’s enough to completely renew your Sportsman’s differential.

Upgraded and Awesome

With 7 of the best ATV accessories installed on your ride, you have a machine that looks awesome, performs great, and lasts for years. Any one of these could be a game changer for your ATV, but get all of them, and you’ll start turning heads everywhere you go.
